WORLD BOOK DAY 2025

This year World Book Day falls on Thursday 6th March, but we will be celebrating every day next week to ensure all children can enjoy reading, listening to stories and dressing up.

We have plenty of costumes & dressing up items at nursery, so please don’t feel under any pressure or obligation to find/buy a costume for your little one(s).

Poppy Room

The little ones are encouraged to bring in their favourite bedtime story and can wear pyjamas next week! The Poppy Room’s theme for March is ‘Books & Stories.’ Miss Sally’s dance class in the Poppy Room will explore the magic of fairytales.

Sunshine Room

The Sunshine Room have been enjoying The Colour Monster story and will continue to explore feelings, emotions and colours all week. The children are welcome to come in wearing their favourite colour! Miss Sally will be bringing the story of Jack & The Beanstalk to her dance session with the Sunnies. Hannah will be delivering a yoga and breathing session in the Sunshine Room inspired by The Colour Monster book.

Star Room

The Star Room have chosen a Julia Donaldson theme for World Book Day! Plenty of stories to enjoy and lots of characters to talk about or dress up as! The Big Stars will revisit The Gruffalo and Harry Potter in their dance classes.
